COVID-19 Protocols

The following is the COVID-19 Protocol for Climate Classes’ events, both formal and informal. This protocol has been reviewed, discussed, and approved by the elected members of Climate Classes’ board.

In-Person Indoor Events

All event hosts, volunteers, and attendees must be vaccinated and be prepared to show proof of vaccination. CDC guidelines will be followed regarding vaccination status or negative test within 72 hours for children, 12 and under, as well as for the availability of booster shots.
Climate Classes will follow current CDC and DC guidelines on masking.
The Board will take the current status of COVID-19 as well as CDC guidelines into consideration for event planning.

In-Person Outdoor Events

All event hosts, volunteers, and attendees must be vaccinated and be prepared to show proof of vaccination. CDC guidelines will be followed regarding vaccination status for children, 12 and under, as well as for the availability of booster shots.

Virtual Events

All event planners are strongly encouraged to include a virtual element for their events, to maximize the number of people who can be included in the events.
