Climate Classes is joining Friends of Anacostia Park, DC Environmental Education Consortium, and the Washington DC Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) to teach the community about the science and impacts of climate change during the Annual Environmental Youth Summit (AEYS) on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

The AEYS is an annual event that increases environmental literacy and encourages stewardship for the Anacostia, Potomac Rivers, and the Chesapeake Bay. Students and teachers from ten DC schools have the opportunity to enjoy a day of hands-on learning and exploration of Anacostia Park!
